BAD COMPUTER VIRUS?? details!?helpp

Question

i accidently went on an attack site...i at least think it wass and all this stuff popped up and said my computer was infected and something was sending my info or something to an unauthorized 3rd party and so i freaked out and it had me download an antivirus and so i did and the antivirus was the virus itselff....ive tried deleting the program and it says it did but its still there when i turn on my computer?? how do i get rid of itt? i think its a medium level trojann....i know its stupid but helpp?

is a site that reports on Fake anti-spyware programs.

Did you have to PAY for this c**p?

Get the new Webroot Anti-virus and anti-spyware.

Google "antivirus 2009" there is lots of info on how to get rid of it.

Mcafee SiteAdvisor (FREE) will let you know before you click on a 'Search Engine' site link, if the link is safe or unsafe. Also it will warn on a site you are already on, if it is bad or not.

You will have to run a real anti-virus program + anti-spyware, links below. If you can't run them, you will have to run them in Safe Mode - hit F8 key repeatedly when rebooting. Also, use Firefox instead of IE, much safer.
