i received a charge from a ticket website for 225.60 which i did not make and i called the company to resolve the issue but they denied my request so i contacted bank of america and they remove the charges while it was in dispute but two months later they rebilled me. i called and they stated the company had evidence that the charges were not fraudualent because the information was under my name and address. I told them that it was under my information when i called the company and the bank, but these were still not my purchases. the bank doesn't want to remove the charges for me. what do i do to get this charge off my bill?!

I am having the same exact problem with FIA Card Services which is owned by Bank of America. When I called them a few days ago about two charges to online tickets for Theatre tickets in New York City, they first told us to contact them ourselves. When the vendors said the tickets had already been used, on our 2nd call to FIA, the told us that WE had to prove that we didn't make the purchase and continued to tell us that we could have bought them for friends, created fake e-mail addresses and used disposable cells to conduct get the tickets. I was astounded at how unhelpful they were and never had that kind of experience in the past. After doing some research, I found the burden of proof is on the issuer of the card to prove that the card holder really did make the purchase. This is federal law. I am still in the processes of trying to get them to reverse this and will report my findings. If there are any others with this same type of problem, please write in as well. I would like to see if there is a pattern here. If there are any lawyers our there reading this, perhaps this could grow into a class action lawsuit.
