  1. Oops Sorry!!!! I was looking at my books and I guess I put it wayyy too low!! Oops Sorry!! This is the correct #!

My "actual" best ever time was 13.416 seconds with my mare a few years ago and my average with my gelding is around 14 seconds. The gelding I use was in the open class of both adults and youth. My best time was at the Junior Division. I go slower when I am in my 4-H Classes because most girls in my club are not really experienced to go fast but I try my best to make them be better.

    I appologize!!

  2. I never remeber my times lol. Thats so bad! Well i suppose they were good enough to get Reserve champion at my local fair out of alot of horses.

That year i barrel raced on a 22 year old ex saddleseat Arabian mare. That was alot of crazy fun.

  3. My best time was 13.56. that was at high school rodeo finals. my second best was 15.35. that was in the practice ring.

  4. It kind of depends on whether you are using a regulation arena set up or not...

I don't barrel race, but I kinda felt sorry for you because nobody had answered :-)

Just for the record, the standard barrel distances for a standard size arena (130 ft. wide by 200 ft. long) are as follows: from the score line (starting line) to the 1st and 2nd barrels is 60 feet. The distance between the first and second barrels is 90 feet, and the distance from the 1st and 2nd barrels to the 3rd barrel is 105 feet.

A good run for this size of arena would be any time under a 17.50.

  5. i dont remember best times

    but i usually get around a 17.

the one im training gets gets a 19- 21, he is just learning
