I bet when the bloke on the corner of the street says "Big issue" Rex replies "F*** off it's not to me"!

Well he must be made of money - not worked for 3 months and then he and Nicole are going 'travelling'

London= the real world, is it really ? I'm sure our Rachel will prefer the relative calm and beauty of her own home town

Rex thinks the "real world" is having a laugh constantly at the expense of other people's feelings. In his real world men are controlling and obnoxious.

I think he means so that she would see the bad side of life, that it isn't all positive, so he's just dissing London! And trying to turn her into a miserable old git just like Rex is, so it's Rex's real world, which isn't actually a world it's just what it seems like to Rex with his head up his ar5e.

It couldn't be a "Big Issue" to Rex because you are forgetting there is no bigger issue to Rex, than Nicole

'London' and 'Rex's real world' are OCEAN'S apart - come to think of it - Rex should be made to stand on the street corner and see how many copies of 'Big Issue' he can sell and see how the other half live for a week

London's not all it's cracked up to be P and as you know I live there and you're probs right about the Big Issue thing.  Not a Big Issue to him as he has a roof over his head thanks to Daddy's Money !!

And besides if Rachael wants to live in a world of Gingerbread Houses and Chocolate Lampposts so what - I think we all wander off into our little worlds now and again !!
