the same reason they don't answer him when he aks them what's going on when they're all going crazy. It winds me up a lot!

I know, it's gross.  I know he's blind but thats no excuse!  Surely he could feel it all over his face?  It's not like it's a little bit you'd miss, it's all over his face.

I feel a bit sorry for him though, maybe he really doesn't realize, and the others think he knows so don't say anything?

he's a disgrace...some people might imagine all blind people have appalling table manners like him...when in fact the opposite is usually the case..
