Question:

BCA league players?

I understand that in the BCA league an 8 ball made on the break is either spotted or the breaker can ask for a re-rack. Do they use any coin-op tables in the bca? If so, how do they retrieve the 8 ball and any other balls made on the break. Who pays for this , if anybody?

  1. Sorry don't know about BCA, but the APA/CPA most host locations pay the green fees so the tables are open with no cost to the members playing.  In the CPA you win if you pocket the 8 off the break (and get a pin to acknowledge your accomplishment).

  2. They open the tables so no coins are needed.  At least that's what they do around here.

  3. If that happens you ask a ref to open the table.  8 ball breaks being a win is l.a.m.e.... Lame.
