BCCI's reaction to Kambli's allegations shows their double standards - Sarfraz Nawaz
The former Test pacer of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sarfraz-Nawaz-Malik-c88831, has condemned the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s reaction to Vinod Kambli’s recent match-fixing allegations, saying that it has shown the double standards of BCCI.

Sarfraz Nawaz said that both the International Cricket Council and the Board of Control for Cricket in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 were scared that investigations into Kambli’s allegations might open up a new Pandora's box of corruption scandals.
A couple of days back, Vinod Kambli had expressed his suspicions about the 1996 Cricket World Cup semi-final between India and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758, saying that Mohammad Azharuddin’s decision to bowl first was a surprising one for him and always gives him a feeling
that there was something amiss in the game.
"I will never forget the 1996 match because my career ended after this... I was stunned by India's decision to field first," Kambli had said while taking part in a discussion during a TV programme last week.
The Indian sports minister Ajay Maken, had earlier urged the BCCI to investigate into the match-fixing allegations and take strict action against the culprits. Despite getting a call for probe from Maken, the BCCI vice president, Rajiv Shukla, rubbished
Kambli’s claims and said that board does not find the false allegations worth investigating.
“We are not giving any importance to the claims made by Kambli. If a person wakes up after 15 years and makes some allegations, that is not worth taking note of,” Shukla had said on Saturday.
