BCCI can't wait for the team to get back to the top spot, says N Srinivasan - Cricket News Update
The newly appointed president of the Board of Control for Cricket in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Srinivasan-c90829, has urged the Indian players to regain their form and fitness back as soon as possible to get back to the top spot in Test cricket.
"I don't like to lose. The BCCI can't wait for the team to get back to the top spot," said Srinivasan while talking to the media reporters after officially taking over from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shashank-Manohar-c89791 as the BCCI chairman on Monday.
He further added that the BCCI is providing excellent facilities at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore and hoped the players would be on their way to quick recovery once they join the academy.
"We have excellent facilities at NCA where players can go, rest, get rehabilitated,” said Srinivasan. “It is as good as any other (facility) in the world. No players are selected without the NCA clearing them first," he added further.

The newly appointed BCCI president said that having so many players injured in a single series was an extraordinary situation. He said that they did not have their best team right from the start of their tour in July. He also urged the Indian players to
be honest about their injuries.
The president further clarified that no specific committee would be constituted to probe into India’s abysmal performance in England this summer as winning and losing is the part of the game.
India were outclassed by England in all the three formats of the game as they returned home winless after playing the hosts in 10 matches.
