BCCI gears up to assess real donkeys in Team http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 – Cricket News Update
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided not to take the remarks of the former English skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nasser-Hussain-c78777, lightly as it has initiated a strategy to gauge and point out the actual donkeys in Team India so that no other commentator
dares to label the players like this in future.
In order to distinguish between the donkeys and the hawks, the board has hired the services of an international consulting agency, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) which is tasked with evaluating the individual and collective performances of the members of
the team.
Talking to the media, the BCCI vice-president, Rajiv Shukla, said, “BCCI always has the best interests of Indian cricket at heart. So, while we are not afraid to pull up the ECB for Nasser’s unwarranted remark, we would also be the first to introspect and
figure out who the offending donkeys are.”
However, the board authorities are still not clear about what did Nasser meant by ‘donkeys’ as some take it in positive context while the others consider it defamatory.
A BCG partner, Rishi http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Vijay-Sai-Suri-c95226, told, “It is important to understand the exact meaning of the word. Did Nasser Hussain mean that because of a lot of injuries, a few men were bearing the burden of the entire team, and were therefore the beasts of burden?”
Nasser, while commentating in one-off T20I between India and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 some days back, dubbed the Indian fielders as donkeys. These remarks stirred a wave of anger in the cricketing circles of India and the BCCI even announced that it was going to take up
the issue with England Cricket Board (ECB).
However, the Indians have started thinking rationally on the donkey tag and are eager to know the exact meanings of the controversial word now.
The Men in Blue, after losing the 4-Test npower series to the Poms, have come under fire as they are being censured and cursed from all corners of the world. Nasser has gone to an extreme extent as he is passing a new insulting comment on the visitors every
day. He has also termed the bus of the Indian players as an ambulance recently.
