BCCI reluctant to tour Pakistan for a bilateral series
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is being reluctant to tour Pakistan for a bilateral series after the US attack on Osama bin Laden, in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
According to sources, the BCCI is not satisfied with the security situation in Pakistan after the death of Osama.

After the semi final of the ICC World Cup 2011 at Mohali, both countries have shown interest in resuming cricketing ties.
The Pakistan Cricket Board chairman, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ijaz-Butt-c64128, was happy with India’s positive response towards resumption of ties.
The chairman said; “Getting positive signals on the resumption of a bilateral series is a good omen and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani has directed us to arrange the series as soon as possible.”
After reports in the Indian media about a bilateral Indo-Pak series, Rajiv Shukla, the Vice President of BCCI, confirmed that their committee was looking into the matter.
Shukla stated that the committee has started working towards a solution and is taking note of all security concerns. Meanwhile he confirmed that it is not possible for India to play a series with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 next year.
He said; "The Indian Board of Control of Cricket working committee would only take a decision after looking into all aspects including security concerns. But as the schedule for the next year is already fixed, we do not have any vacant slot right now, where
we can fit a new series."
