BCCI urges the national team to win the Asia Cup – Cricket News Update
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has urged the national team to win the upcoming Asia Cup at all cost, following their debacles overseas.
"Pick the best possible squad for the Asia Cup. We need the team to win the tournament at any cost," an official told the Times of India.
Board is very concerned over the team’s recent performances Down Under, and has inquired over the selection committee to name the strongest possible crew for the upcoming mega event.
"The requirement was to pick the best available team and there is no denying that the squad that is picked is the best that India has at the moment," an official of the board said.

Indian team’s performances over the past few months have not been satisfactory, which includes a 4-0 Test drubbing at the hands of Australia.
