BCT family day at Fort Leonard Wood

Question

We are going to my fiances BCT graduation on September 11th. The family day is on the same day as the graduation. It is at Fort Leonard Wood. Does anyone know of anything we could do around there when we take him out. Thanks

well there is not a whole lot to do around here.  There is the museums that have Engineer, Chemical, and Military Police in it.  The PX, Walmart.  There are also some restaurants.  There are not very many places to go around here unfortunately.  Good Luck!!!

Ok u need to visit the russell stovers outlet u can sample all the chocolates, and next door is a lil flea market that has some great lil things, and then there is the BASS PRO shop, its the outdoor mall, they have a water fall, live fish, snakes, just a all around great place to go lots to see, there is a lot of good food there was a very good mexican restaurant a cross the street from are hotel, we stayed at motel 6, great place to stay. good luck and try and have fun all these places are about 2hrs a way but worth it, and try st louise they have a giant mall.

Visit wonderful downtown Waynesville or St.Robert just outside the gate of FLW!

The main drag into FLW has plenty of Restaurants from country diners to german,chinese, but,  I don't think that there's a sushi place!

or for some excitement, Go to Rolla 30 miles away to WAL- MART!

Lake of the Ozarks, Branson  for entertainment & Springfield, 75 miles away to the "BIG" City!
