BEE - what will the decision be?

You apply for a job which clearly states "BEE/AA/EE post"

You appear white with straight hair brown hair and green eyes.

Your father is black and you mom is white. You resemble nothing of a black person. Will you be discriminated against?

But essentially, I am also of mixed race descent. My mother´s family is from Scotland and my father´s family is from France. So I am mixed. Do I also qualify for BEE/AA ??  And I have brown eyes, that is a plus, hey?  And black hair. Ha, ha!

I'll wait for my son to grow up and see if he gets a job, my boyfriends friends tease him when he's out with Reb since he's so light and has golden curls at the crown of his head.... They say he needs to do a DNA test and make sure he's the dad.

No not according to Tokyo Sexwhale....there was an article about it a while back in the news, tokyo is black and has a white wife, the kids look a bit very black to me, but when asked Tokyo said if you have a black parent you will qualify as black. It will make an interesting constitutional court case!

Well AA is supposed to be anyone as long as your are not a white straight not-disabled man

so if you are g*y/ female/ disabled you are supposed to fit the AA criteria

You would think BEE would be anyone who is not white, since anyone with a tan was discriminated against before.

However, a lot of high powered coloured men are not black enough.

Ooops Brown kids will be mine too in years to come. I cannot wait. But to clasiify them as Coloureds, white or black, I see that as nonsense. And yes, the decision of the BEE is something I do not care about. But From what I read about it, let the blacks get it.
