BEGINNING GYMNASTICS WITH FIRST GRADERS?!?

i've found a gym to begin gymnastics - i took a preschool class there for two years when i was younger. they don't remember me (i'm 14) but either way i've lost my ability to do cartwheels, roundoffs, etc. I've looked everywhere and there's no other classes for girls my age except for the progressive classes (levels 1 and up) and it's for first graders and older! Will i be placed with little kids if i'm not as advanced as other girls my age?

normally they wull have beginning high school tumbling. im not sure but thats how my gym is for those girls! good luck!

Yeah I did this as well although they were 7 and older maybe up to 11yrs... I was 13. It kinds sucked but I loved gymnastics and I was easy to teach and wanted to learn. The kids were cute and really liked me and often they were much better than me! Hehe... I just worked hard and showed the coaches I wanted to be good and they moved me up to a higher level class.
