  1. One time on the range....hitting one club a 100-150 yards...and being a beginner is a long, long way from playing golf. Especially on a consisent day to day round.  It's not that easy!!!!  Good start, though.  If you were hitting if fairly consistent on the same line and distant, bravo.  Now, what club were you hitting??  Did you hit short iron, a fairway wood, a driver??? Did you do some putting??

If you were at a range, then I guess you were at a golf course.  Why not go inside and visit with one of the pros and ask him about how to go about getting started on the right way to play this great game.  Also, many golf courses have junior clinics or classes.  Try 'em out....think you'll enjoy it, and it certainly can't hurt your golf game. Have fun....!!!!

  2. it's a good thing.

BUT maybe, you were able to hit the balls that far because you were forcing your arm and chest muscles to do the work.

REMEMBER. your hips are the main players in the golf.

it's NOT the strength of a man that counts in swinging, but the fast rotation of the hips.

    i'm also a golf beginner.

i've been playing for 2 days now.

at my first day at the range,

i was able to hit the ball until 100 yards.

i was happy --but i leaned that my swing is bad.

i forced my muscles too much,

that's why my body started aching like crazy.

especially my torso, chest, and whatever.

  3. right now dont even focus on keeping the ball straight right now u need to just focus on making good contact with the ball and have somebody who knows what they r doing film your swing and then make the adjustments needed

  4. Not really. Not for 16. That kinda sux.

  5. Thats pretty good, depending on what club....but what you want to concentrate on most is keeping the ball straight. The distance will come as you get better. Try to get a  pro or coach to help you out on your swing before you develop bad habits.

    Keep up the good work!

  6. Beginners Guide To Golf will assist you abut the skills on putting, swing and holding the club correctly.

  7. Hi mirky

Yes that is ok, since you just started golf

  8. That's really good for beginner.  Most beginners can't even get the ball airborne.  Keep up the practice and soon you'll be playing golf on the course.

A word of advise.... after you feel comfortable hitting the ball, get some lessons or have a friend that's been playing for a while to help you fine-tune your swing.

  9. Like others have said - don't worry about the distance yet, and just concentrate on hitting it straight.  It takes a long time (and many rounds) to start really understanding what you're doing in golf.
