Im tired of all these people just giving different answers just because of what they believe/don't and are skeptics

to all you non believers that DONT do research..DO RESEARCH!! trust me you wouldnt want to regret not being prepared to protect your loved ones lives just because you were to stubborn to just to do a little research.

ANYWAYS..for the possible believers..do you know a website that gives the real predictions about what the Mayans, Nostradomus, and modern day weather researchers predict is possible to happen..

To best prepare for any given situation, it is best to have an idea of what you may be up against:  You are on the right path.

I have been tracking the Mayan Calendar for over a year now and it doesn't miss a beat.  Heck, they even predicted a condition that would collapse the world monetary system (paper currency),  in this period, and it's right on schedule.

I think it is worthy goal to prepare for, but I'm not sure for what or how to best prepare. You see, one can plan to survive the catastrophes of 2012, but loose their soul (life energy) anyway: I'm torn, but I think I will make more of an effort to prepare my soul for the great transformation that should occur on Oct. 28, 2011: It's a transformation from 4th dimension to 5th; some religions know it as "Ascension".  Why live through h**l when there may be another way out.  The trick is learning to love all unconditionally since this will aid in raising your energy frequency to the next level;  nature will do the rest.

The Maya predict an "End of the World as we know it". Great changes are expected to happen, including more natural disasters followed by a change in consciousness and a time of peace.

Here is a summary of my research into the Mayan Calendars and their predictions for the time leading to Dec. 21, 2012.

The following cycles are most relevant to what may occur in 2012. There is the 25,625 year "Galactic Day" and the 5,125 year "Long Count"(Great Cycle). Both of these are set to END and RESTART on the Winter Solstice of 2012 (11:00 UST Dec. 21, 2012):



Let's start with the "Galactic Day". As we travel around the Milky Way galaxy, it is my understanding that we do not remain at a constant distance nor at the same orientation in relation to the black hole at its center;  a black hole the Maya refer to as the supreme creator, "HUNAB KU". Instead, we move closer and further from this black hole.  As we move in closer, we simultaneously become aligned  with the Milky Way's equator or "The Tree of Life" as the Maya call it.  Upon doing so, we may become exposed to "HUNAB KU's" opposing magnetic forces which would cause our Sun to eject intense solar flares and Earth to experience a magnetic pole reversal (Pole Shift).  In the years that we have been furthest away from ,"HUNAB KU", we have been dense low vibrating energy and have been experiencing our dark spiritual years: These years have been part of the "Galactic Night".  As we move closer, we become higher vibrating energy and spiritually enlightened beings: These years pertain to the "Galactic Day". We are currently in transition from Night to Day. The complete cycle takes 25,625 years; approximately the same as what modern science has calculated and named "The Precession Of The Equinox Cycle".

The "Long Count" evenly divides the "Galactic Day" into five equal parts (25,625 years / 5 = 5,125 years). It is my understanding that this cycle also coincides with a natural rhythmic beat that is derived from the black hole at the center of the galaxy in the form of an energy pulse. This energy pulse presumably has multiple effects on us and our surroundings. It not only helps us to become enlightened beings for twenty years, but can reek havoc on Earth by creating larger solar flares which can bring drought, famine, earthquakes, volcanic activity, and tsunamis. Twenty years prior to this event, in a period the Maya refer to as "The Time of No-Time",  mild energy spurts, from "HUNAB KU",  create a shift in consciousness; from left-brain thinking to right-brain thinking (from logical to intuitive). This shift can be experienced all at once or gradually at first moving exponentially as we approach the end of the cycle.

There is one more Mayan Calendar I could share with you called "The Nine Underworlds". It is one of the more recently rediscovered calendars and may be the most important one, in so far as the 2012 prophecies are concerned.  It is a calendar that has recorded the state of consciousness from the beginning of time (The Big Bang) to Dec. 21, 2012.  At which time, we will have supposedly consciously evolved to completeness to become co-creators with "HUNAB-KU":  It maps out "creation" if you will.   Humans will be exposed to a cosmic energy that will facilitate enlightenment. In this state of higher consciousness, we will recognize that all matter, plant, animal, mineral are bound as one. This realization will mark the end of wars.

Actually, I'm a research librarian at a university.  More data passes before my eyes in an average 8-hour day than you've probably seen in a year.

I've done the research.

2012 is garbage.  There ARE NO relevant "predictions," from the Mayans, Nostradamus, or anybody else.  And if there were... it still wouldn't mean anything, because 1) Predictions can be interpreted to mean ANYTHING if they're vague enough, and 2) predictions seen to come true with a frequency at or below that of random chance.  (For example, some psychics, from a scientific point of view, are actually notorious for guessing WRONGER than you would if you flipped a coin - so you'd be better off listening to their predictions of what you should do, and then doing the opposite.)

Prepare all you want.  All you'll be doing is allowing other people to profit from your gullibility  As my personal philosophy can be distilled to "Death to the Stupid,"  I'm all for that.

2012 is just the revealing of the 'antichrist' or the 'man of lawlessness' at the middle of what Jews and Christians call the 7 year Tribulation. Many pagan cultures (Sumerians, Babylonians, Cherokee, Hopi, Chinese I-Ching {confirmed by T.McKenna}, Mayans, Egyptians, Celts, Satanists, etc...) celebrate this evil event called "the abomination that causes desolation". When will Yeshua Ha'Mashiach (Jesus) come? Only God Himself knows, but soon.

Nothing is going to happen. There is absolutely no proof that anything will happen. There are no reliable sources. This is just somthing that people made up to scare people into buying stuff. Nothing is going to happen. When December 22, 2012 comes around you will regret not buying Christmas Presents.

Nostradamus never said anything about dates, EVER. he kept it vague so it could apply to any time.

the mayans never predicted anything. they had a cyclic calendar. meaning it HAS TO RESTART SOMETIME. Dec 21, 2012 corresponds to the end of the 12th long count. 12th! meaning the calendar has restarted 11 times already! THE WORLD IS STILL HERE! ITS AMAZING!

as for meteorologists? really? they are predicting weather more than 4 years in advance? id like to see one correctly predict weather a week in advance, it would be amazing.

Now why would you believe that non believers have not done any research on this? These predictions are made by fear mongers trying to spread fear such as yourself. You are the one in science where is your PROOF? Besides crackpot websites that are trying to make a few bucks from people who are gullible enough or does not understand enough about science to believe them. Dont you get it,it is an ancient calender it is supposed to restart and even if it doesnt who cares...Do you know why they stopped adding dates to it?I doubt it nobody does it very well could be because they were wiped out by the spanish. Not to mention even if everything happened that is being predicted on this date did happen you would not have to worry about protecting your family because you and everyone else would be dead.

From the thousands of predictions from the past they do not hold up 99.99 fail rate and weather cannot be predicted four years into the future little alone a month ahead.

I believe the Mayans predicted a time shift, what many interpret to be the "Apocalypse". The Earth has been scientifically proven to go through 26,000 year cycles, shifting on it's axis, and sometime in the next 100 years is the end of one.

Also, many people do the math differently when interpreting the Mayan prediction, 2012 being the most popular. When it comes down to it, there will be some sort of shift, but it could potentially be anytime in the next 100-150 years, and it won't necessarily be apocalyptic.
