BENGALS - Has Chris Henry FINALLY learned his lesson?

Henry has been involved in a string of legal troubles during his professional career, which include several arrests for such offenses as driving under the influence, marijuana possession, assault, and criminal damaging. Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Henry_(wide_receiver)

Cincinnati Bengals released Chris Henry on April 3, 2008 & was out of work until yesterday. Hard time if you ask me, that's just over 4 months & if that's not enough, he is suspended for the 1st 4 games of the 08 season.

1.) Has he FINALLY learned his lesson & if not, after ALL of this, what will it take for him to "get it"

2.) How long til his next arrest?

  1. Heck no.

There is a billboard in Covington, Kentucky (just south of Cincy) that reads, "Chris Henry Again? Are you serious?" lol I thought that was funny.

  2. Joel D is right. It's hard to tell if he learned anything at all. The Bengals were force into this and if Henry is a total idiot he will believe that he deserves to be back.

  3. People like this never learn. They have an inner drive of temptation that just cant be tamed. It was called years ago "being in the wrong place at the wrong time" We have since learned that when it looks like bad things follows you around........Thats because you invite them by doing the same things over and over!

  4. I don't understand why the Cowboys didn't pick him up.

Why didn't you loser Cowboy fans lobby for him?

To Summarize:  The Cowboys will sign anyone, anyone at all, in their pathetic attempts to win a playoff game.  How many years has it been?  Ten...  Eleven... Twelve?

Good luck with all of the deadbeats that you keep signing.

Cowboys and Cowboy fans suck.  They really, really suck.

  5. No way he learned his lesson!  He will have some problem buy mid-season. It shows the rest of the NFL how poorly run the Bengal organization is!

  6. I hope he learned his lesson becuase he got lucky by getting back with the Bengals becuase the owner wanted to give him a last chance... I don't think he'll get arrested again becuase he said he was scared that he wouldn't get a chance in the NFL again so now that he knows what its like he won't s***w up again

  7. no the only reason cin got him back is cause they have no 3rd wr. that's good.

  8. that guy is a mush

  9. I doubt he will EVER learn his lesson, I give it till the end of the season and he'll be arrested again.

I dont think there anything anyone can do to get it through his thick head.

    Why bother..

  10. I doubt it but only time will tell. It takes people different amount of time to mature.

  11. I don't know if he's learned his lesson or if he ever will, he's been in trouble with the law 13 times exactly since late 2005, that's crazy numbers for only 2.5 years, I think he just needs to stay in the house and don't go out to bars or clubs cause he always seems to get in trouble whenever he does

Still don't get why the Bengals went back on their word:  President Mike Brown explained that Henry had forfeited his opportunity to pursue a career with the Bengals and that his conduct could no longer be tolerated and head coach Marvin Lewis stated the team had no interest in bringing back Henry just a month ago in July

    Now what's up with that?

  12. The Bengals were desperate to get Henry because of their injured WRs. It won't be long until he's in trouble again, and Cincy cuts him again.

  13. He hasn't learned his lesson. Come on those 4 months were offseason, he wasn't going to make much money during that time. It isn't like he is about to get endorsements that were hurt by that. So he really didn't lose much but lose the time in training camp. Considering they brought him back he doesn't even really have to fear for his job. He knows he isn't going to get cut, or they wouldn't have brought him back. I'm not sure how long until he gets arrested again. The real question to me is how long until the Bengals "get it".

  14. He hasn't learned anything.  If anything he has learned that teams will overlook his past because of his talent.  Of course he probably learned that by the time he was 10 and everybody knew he was good at football.

I'll give him 2 months before his next arrest.  I figure they have him pretty well babysat in training camp when they watch everybodies every move.

  15. He will not learn a lesson and will be in trouble and cut by years end.

He will end up in Dallas next year.
