Okay i'm looking for a new apartment but the thing is i'm still in a lease but i took my landlord to court and the judge was like why don't you just move because the problems are not getting fix. So i sent him a letter letting him know that if he don't fix the problems then he will not get paid. Now this has been going on for 2 months and on top of that we dont even have our new lease and still hold on to the old so to me we aren't in a lease. Now we (meaning me and my sister by the way) applied for this new apartment but we had to give them the landlords number and they have to check our credit i have a 3 credit cards and i pay the bills on time my sister dont have any. Now my questions are what if the landlord tell him that we are in a lease but he can really say anything because we pay our rent on time. By last question is if i signed up for books but didn't pay it would that be on my credit even though i didn't use my social serurity number? Please let me know i know i'm confusing

If you're not in a lease, you're on a month to month contract.

Take the judges advice........MOVE

If you took your landlord to court, and he lost, he'll likely be glad to be rid of you.

I don't understand about the books, if you signed up to buy them, they WILL come after you for the money
