  1. When I was a child my mom gave me this hairstyle. First I had to get a hair cut and a perm on just the front half of my head. Then I just got the rest of my hair trimmed. If you have curly hair, then obviously it needs to be straightened.

  2. volume shamoo and conditioner

  3. lots of aqua net and a curling iron. totally 80's

  4. I love DJ in the show Full House!

I think she had amazing hair!

I think you should start off by washing your hair with a volumizing shampoo, plus conditioner.

Then, blow dry your hair by first flipping your hair upside down and blow drying the back of your hair first. Then flip your hair up and blow dry the top of your hair. Try not to flatten it. Then I would get a comb and tease your hair a little bit. That means you rat up the hair to make it bigger.

    I hope I helped!

  5. I have no idea. ask someone an adult that  lived in the late 80s early 90s

  6. Arm yourself with hairspray!

    Get bangs

Wash hair and put body lifting goo in

Blow dry upside down for a bit

then blow from chin up towards top of ears - may be a good idea to use more goo or mouse

if you have to rat a bit on the top of the head for lift - do it lightly

when you have the look - freeze it!!

grab the hair spray and go for it

it may take a few times to get it right and depending on how your hair holds styles, it may be frustrating.

    good luck

  7. Yes, you need to have some volume in your hair, and you can do it by hanging your head down while drying at the root area.  Try to leave the temple area alone for now.

Then to finish, you would flip your head up, and do the ends.  Try to keep the volume at the root area.  A little backcombing, or back-brushing, would help.  The front and top can be a little shorter (layered?) to give more movement and lift.  You may finish it differently if you have longer hair.

Now, the temple area, which really makes the look.  You will have to brush that part flat and up.  Dry it that way.  Make sure it is completely dry to stay that way.  You only want the root area to be upwards!  Many girls use extra styling aids here, and hairspray when they are drying this area.  Finish the ends with a little curl, or not.

This will hold for a time, but you are asking the hair to go against natural gravity.  If you have heavy hair, it's more difficult.  With good products, this will work.  Eventually, you will find that it will come down.  This is a short-term style, but for an evening, it's enough.

Remember, actresses have stylists on the set all the time!  You don't see them looking like this on the street.
