BEST CAR TO DO UP/MODIFY??

i get my P's soon and i want a good basic car with alot of potential that i can do up

ive got idea's like

180 sx, 200 sx, 300 zx, rx 7, im not a big fan of supra or skyline

give me some tips please

am a car mechanic and these are the best cars to be modded with no engine proplems what so ever

What do you want from it? Good track car? good quarter miles? Stupid plastic wings and neons?

I would say RX-7. I had one a year ago and i loved it, very tuneable (though all cars you list are) and gorgeous (which all other cars you listed are not)
