BEST/CHEAPEST deals on airfare?

I want to go on a mini vacation (3-4 days) and live in St. Louis. Where can my husband and I fly for the cheapest price? I’m not too particular, I would just like to have a few options. We’re in our 20’s with no children. Thanks all!

  1. I would always check directly with the airlines because travelocity for example is more expensive than the airlines.

  2. search http://airfares.flyairfares.com

    or FlyAirfares.com

  5. There's no single site that's cheaper than others; you have to shop around a little.  Make sure you check with your airline first, though; as another answerer mentioned, some places can tack on service fees.  If they were not able to get a discounted fare, this may mean it would cost more than going directly to the airline.

  6. I've been doing this for a long time, and for what you describe, I think these 2 sources are probably your best bet:

    and http://www.farecompare.com/maps/compareD...

  7. You didnt mention what kind of trip you wanted to go on, but heres what I would do:  go to a website called www.airfarewatchdog.com and you can search all the deals from St. Louis. Scroll down just a bit and there will be a blue box that says "see fares from your city".  I dont know if this link will work, but here are the deals they are listing: http://www.airfarewatchdog.com/FareSearc...
