Go to Won Kow in Chinatown...it's the oldest Chinese restaurant in the city.  It's at 2237 South Wentworth and only a five minute walk from the red line's Chinatown stop, right on the main strip (that being Wentworth) in Chinatown.

If you want to know where the actual Chinese people who live and work in Chinatown go to eat, that would be Ed's Potsticker House which is sort of in the middle of Chinatown/Bridgeport at 3139 South Halsted...which is not easily accessible by public transportation.  I can tell you that the food there is delicious and cheap, and that I was the only customer there who didn't speak Chinese.
