New York.  Las Vegas is just a wanna be.  What do you expect from a city that imports its restaurants from everywhere else in the country.  New York not only offers the best variety but also the best prices (if you are smart about it).  Wanna get a handle on eating in NYC?  Get  Zagat's NYC dining guide.

New York by far.  Las Vegas has lots of glitz and famous names, but in NY you can have deli for dinner, bangladeshi for breakfast and lebanese for lunch.  The same holds true for LA and SoCal.  There are so many different ethnic groups there one is assured of finding a truly authentic extremely tasty and reasonable meal.

  11. New Orleans definitely has the tastiest. I would say NYC and LA have the most diverse.
