BEST lunch box?

Question

Tell me about your child's great or awful lunch box.

Where can I find a good, affordable one? I need one that a boy won't mind carrying. It needs to have different containers for various homemade foods and good seals. Needs to a wash easily, too. Where is the best place to buy one? Thank you!

You could try looking for a cute bento box. They have little compartments for your food and would be easy to wash.  They come in adult and child sizes. Anywhere that carries japanese stuff would have them....or you could look online.

my kids have a Collingwood Lunch box (BEst Australian aussie rules team) In that is the sandwich box which is a Tupperware one. I use snap lock bags for the fruit. There is also an area on the top for storage too which I put stuff in occasionally. My kids love their lunchbox and have a matching drink bottle

look at an office supply store or Walmart.  buy the containers separately.  let the kid choose the one he wants.

My niece carries a Bratz lunch box that my sister in law got from Wal-Mart. It's plastic, pink and has a handle. It didn't come with a thermist, so my sister had to buy it seperately.

The lunch box was like $10.00 and the thermist was $5.00.

The exact same lunch box comes in blue with Transformers (Robots) on it. I've seen that one myself at the store.

go to a department store, they sell all sorts usually. i've seen kids who use those bags with velcro at the top and they seem to keep the food cool, or just go for a regular plastic box- just black in colour or something. ask your boy what he would like for a lunch box, let him decide which one he has because then he can't complain about it or be embarrassed about using it or anything.

I got a  race car shaped one...really easy to wash...but I buy the small containers at the dollar store which surprising enough close good...I got a small Thermos and it fits perfectly in the lunch box with room for the snacks,juice etc....I got it at Zellers(canada) but I am sure wal-mart would have something similar
