  1. Put the bettas in their own bowls. You can't put bettas together unless they have a big enough tank & lots of hiding places.

&& never put bettas in with a turtle if you want them to live. Your turtle will eat them.

  2. neither of the tanks are suitable

    female bettas are fine together

2.5 gallons is the minimum size but 5 gallons is best

so i would use the rule 5 gallons for the first  and 2.5 for each additional

    i suggest you get

    1 suitable tank

    1 heater (they are tropical)

    1 filter

    food

    gravel siphon

    gravel

    water conditioner

    and live plants

    you only need 1 tank

because you only change 20% of the water at a time

    also fish dont eat turtles

    turtles eat fish

please do lots of research before buying any pet

and read up on aquarium cycling

    and dont always trust petshops

  3. Yes you are right, that turtle is going to eat your fish! Turtles cannot be kept in fish tanks for that reason...and by the way, no turtle is fully aquatic. (Even sea turtles need beaches. ;) You will need a large enough aquarium to allow for an out-of-water basking spot for the turtle.

  4. You never want to put two bettas of the same gender in the same tank. The male fish will kill each other, the females arent as aggresive but it still isnt a good idea to put them together. Also the turtle WILL eat your fish. He will chase the fish until he catches them or until the fish becomes to stressed out that they die. So put each in its own bowl or tank. I work at Petco so thats where i get my info from.

  5. 5g established, filtered and heated tank is needed to keep a happy and healthy Betta. I would keep going but it looks like you already made up your mind and regardless of what I say or facts I state you will still go out and get a bowl.
