  1. I have one male in a 5 gallon tank.  No tankmates, used to be 3 black skirt tetras but now there in my 55 gallon tank.  There is a whisper filter, no heater because the tank light keeps the tank plenty warm.  Dark blue gravel and lots of plants and a small castle.  I feed him frozen blood worms, and betta pellets.  The pellets every day, the blood worms every 3 days.  I keep him in the 5 gallon because I think anything smaller is just way to small, it would suck to have to live in something so tiny with nowhere to go.

  2. I swear to you, my fish is a WARRIOR.

I keep him in a pretty small tank... don't know what size.

I feed him floating pellets, once or twice a day, 2-4 pellets each time.

I keep him in the small tank because He was in a 3 gallon tank on his own, then I got a few goldfish, so I put him in the starter tank I got.

He's a loner in there, and he's got clear, blue, and green stones (he used to have blue and black gravel), and a silver and black plant.

He's smart... he gets my attention when he's hungry, he kinda spazzes and then calms down once i feed him.

I clean his tank once every 5ish days, and he's totally fine. I got him for Christmas last year, and he's alive and kickin'.

And his name is Flapjacks. Or Jack.

  3. I have 3 males that I keep in 2.5 tanks each, and a female in a 1 gallon tank. 2 of the males have a snail in there tank, but thats it. They all have some fake plants in there. I feed them once a day with about 5 pellets. once a week I feed them bloodworms or brinshrimp as a treat. right now I am conditioning 1 of the males and the female for breeding, so they are eating nothing but bloodworms and brineshrimp.
