BFF DILEMA: anyone go through this?!?

OK- my bff always complains about how FAT she is and how skinny I am. I try to be a really good freind and say she's pretty good for her height. I must be a terrible liar b/c she doesn't believe me!!! Truth is she weighs 150 lbs and is only 5' 1" She is mega embarrassed abojut it. She has a really pretty face but she eats wayy too many junky stuff. She throws up after lunch, tries to starve herself, diet pills, laxatives: ALL = BAD! Any tips on how she can loose her weight and be atleast 90 lbs by next summer?!? Plz be kind b/c I will be showing this to her!

  2. okfirst tell your friend dont take this the wrong way but if your really self concious about your weight stop eating junk and snacks eat yogurts in the morning salads for lunch and lots of water it cleans out the system show her some websites that might help like myperamid.gov its a good website and go to a BMI website it will tell her what weight is right for her height and age.

    tell your friend to just eat salad dont out alot of dressing on it!!

    try to eat as many little calories as you can!!

    also drink alot alot of water it really helps!!:D

    and now i weigh 114

    and im 5'5

    starve my self and i was

    getting fater so

    my dad told me to be vegeterian

    and i was and to do sit up i did 500  per day and

    ran for 1 hr no junk food no fats nothin i

    wiegh 145 and was 4'11 and now i weigh 95 pounds

    but i think am still fat

  7. id make my goal 60 pounds as 5 pounds a month is within reason. if she loses more good.she has to be self disciplined. go get a food chart and plan out meals-exercise-a few relapses as we all have them . be a good friend and see if you can Sponsor her. or help her get one. never think diet think healthy this is not forever, till you learn your new cans and cants and reach your ideal weight. if your healthy start out walking then increase with aerobics 4 times a week. eat salads/drink water,cut out soda for diet. maybe you could talk to dietary at your hospital? make sure you have no health problems even if you have a physical.some medicines you are on could add weight gain. once you get your plan followed up for you try and stick to it. easier said than done. thank you

  8. Well she should go on a healthy diet try to only have 2000 calories a day try to cut down on junk food. and if she is over 12 years of age she should try to go work out after school or on the weekends.

    Also i am not trying to criticize her but if she wants to be 90 lbs and is only 5'1 then she is going to look like a stick.

    I have a friend who is 5'11 and she weighs 89 lbs and she looks like pole!
