My Best Friend EVER!!! Wants to put blue highlights (chunky), and she is not some weird goth/emo kid, this is a grade skipping girl that is going to a science and design school, I really don't think that she should do that, but she is really excites, I know that it is a mistake, but i don't know how to tell her, HELP! BTW she's 12, and she has a great family (not creepy, and or scary) O yeah she's an actor

  1. I wasn't a goth/emo kid and I always wanted to get blue or red highlights in my hair.  Now I'm a teacher and I can't really do that, but I wish that I had. As long as she has parental permission, why not?  It's a good age to try things.

    If you are afraid your friend won't like it, tell her to get the highlights on the hair underneath, so that she can have her hair down and they aren't noticeable, but when she puts her hair up in a ponytail, you can see them.


  2. How is it a mistake? Let her do what she wants with her hair. People who get highlights aren't creepy or scary. Don't use labels such as Emo/Goth. Labels are for idiots who want to divide people into categories by the way they look. Let her do what she wants with her hair. Highlights are cool. It's not like she's forcing you to get highlights.
