BFP?? Hoping it's right?

I am 23 years old and my husband and I are ttc. I took a test this morning and it was positive. I used the ClearBlue Easy Digital pregnancy test and it read pregnant. Does that automatically mean that I am pregnant, or should I take another test? I am sure that it is accurate because it says that it is 99% accurate. I had my lmp on August 1, but I wasn't expecting another one until at least September 7. I have absolutely no symptoms, except my back hurts. Nothing else is different. I am hoping that it is right, but need to know if you think I should take another test, and if so, should I take another one tomorrow, or monday, tuesday? Just curious.

  1. yes your pregnant next step is to register with the midwife through your doctor

    Congratulations

  2. You more than likely are pregnant, if you have doubts take another one the day after you miss you period. But false positives are very rare!

    CONGRATS MOMMY!!!

  3. Congrats false positives are not common, I am sure you will want to test again in the morning.

  4. I would make a doctors appointment and have them do a blood test. Or do another test in a couple of days. It won't hurt. What I always did if I got a positive is I would go to the dollar store and buy 3 or 4 of the cheap test and take those threw out the next few days. I don't know why it always made me feel good to keep seeing those lines pop up. Good luck and congratulations!!

  5. If that one says positive then you probably are pregnant.  If you are unsure then you can wait until your missed period and take another test or go to the doctor and ask him to do blood work.  That way you could know for sure.  (the blood work measures most accurately the hcg levels)  Good Luck!!

  6. False positives are very rare.  I don't think you need to bother with another test.  Just call your doctor and set up that first appointment.  I only took one test when I was pregnant with my second child and when I called to set up my appointment they said I didn't even need to come in and take one at the office because the urine test they use is the same as the home test.  And don't worry about not feeling pregnant. It's a little early for symptoms and some people don't really get them while others get all of them.  Congratulations.
