Data:

Standard phosphate solution (2.5 micromol/ml)

Volume of solution "X": 1 (ml) ( diluted from 5ml in 100ml water)

amount of phosphate in solution "X": 0.25 (micromol)

can someone help calculate concentration of phosphate in solution "X"

in (micromol/ml)

  1. Std soln is 2.5 umol/ml

    When this is diluted 5 ml up to 100 ml, that is a 20 fold dilution.

    Therefore soln X is now 2.5/20 umol/ml or 0.125 umol/ml

    Your question is not presented in a very clear manner, so I'm not certain this is what you're looking for.  Not sure where you got X is 0.25 umol.  If this isn't what you are looking for, try again, but rephrase the question.
