Your question does not make sense. The female chromosome is XX, the male is XY. It is what make you a boy or a girl. What are you really asking?

The only other thing would be this: If you are using lower case X (x) as your recessive gene, than yes, that would be correct. If this is an X-linked gene, it would show up in the male with the (x). The female would need xx for it to show. If she were xX, the X would cancel out the (x). She would be a carrier, but not affected. By being xx (as opposed to XX), she would also be affected.
