  1. bacteria contain organelles; viruses do not. Viruses are only some nucleic acid surrounded by a protein shell.

bacteria can replicate on their own; viruses cannot

  2. Bacterium is a cell containing cytoplasm, ribosomes, plasma membrane, and a cell wall.

The virus is not a cell, does not contain cytoplasm, ribosomes, and a cell wall.

  3. The differences between viruses and bacteria are numerous. Viruses are the smallest and simplest life form known. They are 10 to 100 times smaller than bacteria. The biggest difference between viruses and bacteria is that viruses must have a living host - like a plant or animal - to multiply, while most bacteria can grow on non-living surfaces.

Also, unlike bacteria, which attack the body like soldiers mounting a pitched battle, viruses are guerilla fighters. They don't attack so much as infiltrate. They literally invade human cells and turn the cell's genetic material from its normal function to producing the virus itself.

In addition, bacteria carry all the machinery needed for their growth and multiplication, while viruses carry mainly information - for example, DNA or RNA, packaged in a protein and/or membranous coat. Viruses harness the host cell's machinery to reproduce. In a sense, viruses are not truly "living," but are essentially information (DNA or RNA) that float around until they encounter a suitable living host.

    hope this helped you :)

  4. viruses multiply by basically invading a cell then reproducing when the cell does (like in flu/colds) they r usually bad

bacteria is mostly good like tha 1z in our stomach 2 help digest etc they can also make their own 'copies' of themselves where viruses need like hosts

  5. uhm.

have you heard of this thing they invented recently?

    GOOGLE.

  6. ha ha i do this stuff aye i love it ok i just had to do homework on it

bacteria reproduces by slippting into 2 (a-sexual)

virses reproduce by attacking and killing white blood cells and getting their DNA. Viiruses are air poud diseases while bacteria is contac and water and food and insects

  7. one is that bacteria can replicate on their own whereas viruses cand. Another difference is that bacteria can be gotten rid of out of an organisam  by the use of antibiotics.

  8. i dunno, go 2 google and search.duh!

  9. Hello!

I did a search on Google: "Bacteria Versus Viruses" and came up with so many pages.  So you might want to try a Google search in the future . . . if you need the answer really fast.  Any way, here are three really good sites.  I suggest you read all three before answering the question.  They are very interesting with pictures and some animations.
