BITTEN BY A HUSKY!!!!! I HATE HUSKYS!!!!?

Hello PPl!

My brother got bitten by a husky on his right leg. Thank God it didn't bleed. He says it stings a bit and its a bit red. Right now my family's worried sick about this problem. SO What I want to ask is, should we go to a hospital? Will he get rabbies!!!!!

Or just wait a little. Please answer me!

its best to get him checked out just because he isn't bleeding doesn't mean he got infected with rabbies a scratch on his leg could infect him so please get him checked out

     It doesn't matter what he was bitten by. Do you know the dog ? call the local police, they will pick up the dog for quarantine, for ten days for rabies. If they can't, he'll have to go through the series of painful rabies shots, sorry. By the way, they can treat the wound, if any, at the hospital, like a tetanus shot also along with cleaning the wound.

I just went through this with my son.  He was bitten by a Rottweiler on his thigh, very badly and had to go to the ER.  If it didn't break the skin, then your brother is fine.  Just wash the scratch with soapy water and put an antibiotic ointment like Neosporin on it.
