BJD (ball joint doll) prices?

I think ball-joint dolls are pretty cool, but my mom would freak if i wanted to get one (all the ones ive seen are very pricey). what is the very cheapest that i could buy a BJD for?

Absolute, rock bottom price is $78 + shipping for a 15 cm (about 6 inch) doll with a face up and eyes.  They look like very young children.  For bigger sizes, $100 + ship can get you a Barbie sized doll, $130 + ship can get a very pretty 1'5" (43 cm) elf eared doll, and $180 + ship for a 2" (60 cm) doll.  Those are all Bobobie dolls, which you can order from junkyspot.com to save on shipping.  Latidoll and Fairyland make some very tiny dolls under $150 if you want a little one.

If that's still way over your budget, you can look into regular Volks dollfies and Obitsu dolls.  They are plastic, jointed, barbie size dolls.  For $21 + shipping you could get one, but it wouldn't have a face up or eyes.
