depends on your needs. If you want a device that is text oriented then the Sidekick, but if you want more of a professional device then the Perl. The Perl is suppose to have a better call quality over the sidekick. Also the there is a Perl model with Wi-fi meaning you can go on the internet anywhere there is wifi connection, via BB internet browser or Opera Mini. Only down fall is the fact that the Perl is using a awkward keyboard that can take time to get use to.

BLACKBERRY PEARL WITHOUT A DOUBT!!!! to have this phone provides you with a sophisticated inevitable look that ppl would kill to have.  the sidekick slide is cool too but there is no comparison. the quality is also much better. GO BLACKBERRIES!!!!

Blackberry. T-Mobile is horrible and the Sidekick is too trendy. Blackberry phones are classier.
