  1. Aces are either 11 or 1.

    Face cards are 10.

All other cards are the numbers they say of course!

Blackjack is a 10 and an Ace. (21)

You get 2 cards and decide when its your turn if you want another card. You don't want to bust (go over 21). And I believe you could have up to 5 cards.

Closest to 21 wins. Theres other rules like splitting and stuff, but you wanted it short and simple so I won't confuse you. :)

  2. You'll find a free blackjack tutorial at http://GamblingReviewsSite.com/casinogam...  You will also find a chart that will show you what to do with every single hand to give you the best mathematical chance possible to win.  This is all free information.  Here's a quick tip, the dealer's cards mean more than your cards!  This means that no matter what cards you have it's what the dealer has that determines if you win or not.  I've lost with 21 and won with 12 plenty of times!  Stick to the chart and you will blend in with the other players and give yourself the best chance to win, or at least make your money last longer.  :)

  3. the point of the is to get to 21 with out going over. but an ace in worth 1 or 11 points and any picture card is worth 10

  4. closest to 21 without goin over

  5. Short and simple? Blackjack is a bit more complex than a few sentences can explain.

Good luck - and some advice - don't play for money until you really understand the rules and basic strategy !

  6. The object of Blackjack is to make a 21 without going over, aka: "bust", and beat the dealer's hand. Face cards are worth 10, Aces are worth 1 or 11 and all other numbers card are worth their value. You can take another card, aka: a "hit", or not and "stand", based on your initial 2-card deal. All players are dealt 2-cards face up and the dealer too, one up, one down in most cases. Your objective is to beat the dealer hand without going over 21. A face card and ace are a "natural 21" and usually a winner. Unless the dealer also has a natural 21, in which case you tie, aka: "push". That's it in a nutshell.

  7. Each player gets 2 cards.

The total of your cards needs to be as close to 21 without going over.

If your 2 cards add up to 17 or over you "stay" (don't take another card)

If your cards add up to16 or less, you can have the option to be dealt another card.

The dealer has cards also - you play against the dealer, not the other players.  The dealer has one card facing up for you to see and one card turned face down.  They MUST take a card if their 2 cards total 16 or less, Must stand on 17 or higher.

If the dealer goes over 21 then all players who have cards totaling 21 or less wins.

A Blackjack usually pays 1 1/2, you would get this if you are dealt a face card and an ace.

I hope this explained it to you somewhat clearly.

    ###  In a nutshell, you just have to get a higher hand than the dealer without going over 21. ###

  8. If you mean strategy then, if the dealer has a 7 or higher ( including ace) then keep taking cards until you have 17 or higher yourself. If the dealer has 6 or lower only take a card if you have less than 12. Split 8's all the time, there's more to it but thats the basic strategy to put the odds a little more in your favour

  9. get to 21 with out going over.
