every time i compose or edit a blog entry, the blog setting page keeps appear!

IF I PRESS "REVIEW" OR "POST THIS ENTRY", THE PAGE TURN INTO "Blog Setting" AGAIN. AND ONCE AGAIN, I HAVE TO FILL IN THE "Description", THEN I CLICK "SAVE". THEN THE PAGE GOT BACK TO "MY PAGE" AND MY NEW BLOG ENTRY STILL DOES NOT SHOW UP....

sometimes, my very lucky time, i press the back button, and get back my entry.... but most unlucky, i lost my whole entry --> then i have to start it all over again!

omgggg

i asked about this problem once already, and kee, a top contributor tell me some ways:

1. "back button" --> doesnt work... rarely does it keep my just composed entry!

2. "Keep your browser's cookies and cache cleared often --> once again, did work, a little bit.., only after a few minute, that d**n thing happen again!

3. "You may want to consider using a different browser. Perhaps try out Mozilla Firefox" --> i already using this web browser, and the error keeps appear on both IE and opera!!!

so. thanks LEE for everything,, but maybe, not really "work" ....

then, before i press "post" after composing a new entry, i have to copy it to WORD, in case it might lost!

and sometimes i have to try again up to 5,6 times, so that the entry can be posted!

somebody gotta help me please! so tired and really really annoy!

  1. I'm sorry to inform you, but like most Yahoo! 360 glitches there is no solution to this problem from the user-end of things.

As I pointed out in your previous question on this subject, the Y!360 team is no longer addressing bug reports, as it prepares to launch a new social-networking system in the 2nd half of 2008. Yahoo would have to help fix this issue and they're plan on doing that is to create a new profiling system. In the meantime, you are stuck "dealing with" and not necessarily "fixing" various glitches unless you decide to move to a different social networking/blogging service.

Make sure that your blog settings page is saved with everything filled in properly. You should only have to do this once. Then, try posting your entry. If you don't save your entry elsewhere (like in Notepad or Word) BEFORE posting, then you risk losing what you wrote completely. So, make it habit to save all entries in an external program before trying to post them in Yahoo! 360.

You should keep clearing your browser's cookies and cache. You should do this anyway as part of regular computer maintenance.

For me, clicking the "Back" button (usually more than one time, as the settings page keeps popping up) helps alleviate the problem. But this is a recurring issue, that will happen more than once for most people.

And speaking of computer maintenance, it wouldn't hurt to check that everything on your computer is updated and functioning properly. While much of the problem is with Yahoo, an improperly functioning system can make issues much worse:

    1) Make sure that your computer system is updated via Microsoft/Windows Update (if you have a windows system). You may have to update more than once.

    2) Internet Explorer should be updated to version 7, if it isn't already. Firefox should be updated to version 3.

    3) Make sure that you have the latest Adobe Flash player plug-in installed for your browser. See http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/...

You can create a new Yahoo account and set up the 360 page for it, but you may incur the same problem again.

Other than what's mentioned above, you are likely out of luck.
