It could be hormonal e.g. PMT. Some women get PMT for most of the month.

I have yet to see evidence that suggests women are more moody then men.

        Sure they go through certain hormonal imbalances during PMS or menopause but it is mostly over blown by a few mentally unstable women to justify there craziness.
