BMW 3 18 ise loosing power

Question

My husband has a 1994 BMW 3 18 ise and when the car gets up to temperature it starts to loose power and is worse in the rain any idea what is causing this .

Could be condensation affecting the air-flow meter, it really needs inspection.

it could be the head gasket but get it checked out but it doesnt have to be at a bmw garage

Take it to a BMW dealer. They will do a diagnostics test which should reveal stored information on past faults.
