BMW 316i 1994 E36 overheating?

Question

Had some trouble with my car. I took it to a mechanic to have a weak hose changed. He had replaced my coolant in the radiator but after that the coolant overheats after 10 kilometers, the car fills up with hot air but my temperature gauge stays exactly at the middle and does''t show any problems. The coolant bubbles at the bleeding cap trying to get out. Can anyone tell me what causes this problem?
