My new Z4 has rain sensing wiper capability, but even after looking at the manual, I'm not able to figure out how to turn the option on. ANY HELP??

  1. On my BMW, there is a tab on the end of the stalk for the windshield wiper. When it starts to rain, I just push the tab in. That starts the sensor function. If you turn the car off it resets the sensor to off and you have to push the tab to turn it on again.

  2. In my bimmer, you have to put the wipers on "intermittent" mode, one click up from off, and when it rains the wipers will come on. Took me a while to figure out too but they make it like that so you can turn it off when your washing your car. I'm guessing it should be the same in your Z4 seeing the technology is the same.
