BMW team rider Leon Haslam working hard to resolve issues to improve performance – WSBK news
BMW team’s World Superbike rider Leon Haslam is working hard to resolve issues in order to improve his performance.
Haslam’s run in the 2011 season is going tough at the moment with the BMW Motorrad World Superbike squad but he is looking for solutions.
Haslam has been in the motorcycle racing world for a long time and he has mastered to be diplomatic in the field. His present season is experiencing a low side, but Haslam has kept everything discreet.
Haslam said, “At the minute we are trying to work through a few issues, ones which have been affecting us over the last few races. Today we focused on trying to fine tune the setting we have, as the track temperature is extremely high in relation to the
last time we tested here.”
He added, “Tomorrow is a new day, the team is working hard, as always, to incorporate my feedback and give me what I need from the bike. We will have to see what tomorrow brings. It is just a case of working hard to try and find the solution we are looking
for.”
Haslam has stood as a runner up in the 2010 season, but in the present championship standings, he is positioned at the 14th place- two slots adrift from his BMW teammate Troy Corser.
It has also been revealed that he has public relations problems and he has failed to hide his problems with the media.
On the other hand, Haslam’s teammate Troy Corser has a different approach to his problems. One of his problems is that BMW have temporarily moved their team’s finest data man to the satellite Italia team. BMW’s data man is not expected to move back to factory
garage any time soon.
Corser has felt some problem while riding his bike but he thinks that his riding is not being hampered by the pain.
