Ive got an Eastern ShovelHead 08 bmx with the standard crank. But i want to put a nano drive sprocket on it. Would it work if i got my dad (who is an engineer) to move down the bit on the crank where you bolt on the sprocket to the right place for a small sprocket?

  1. should work but the eastern medusa light sprokrt is better

  2. yes, it will work but it might weaken the crank arm so be careful. also what tooth freewheel/cassette you got on the back. if you get an 18 tooth sprocket you need a very small cog on the back. it will most likely snap ect. because it will be under so much pressure.

go for a 25t sprocket and a 9th cassette rear. thats what i run and its fine.

  3. yep it should work...but have u checked out danscomp.com and jrbicycles.com for crank arms and sprockets? they have a really good range and good prices

  4. i guess anything is possible if you do it really well but theres that possibility that it will s***w up, btw i know what i'm talking about lol and why would you even want that, its way to small get a 28 or something

get back to me on why on earth you would want it
