  1. Oh BO! thought you meant a long wooden pole!

Yes had this same thing once myself at the end of a days work we would all shower at a local leisure centre one individual would not take any product in to the shower, no soap, no shampoo.  Humiliation, encouragement, explanations nothing worked - ended up pouring shampoo over their head when they turned their back.  No much of an answer after all that but hope it helps

  2. This has nothing to do with martial arts.

Suggest deodorant, a stronger soap, and body spray.

    good luck!

  3. Might give an opponent smelly fight.  In the mainstream of everyday life, if you are able to shower and have access to deodorants, then it only shows that you (your mate) lacks in personal hygiene.  That is gross, and sure isn't taking in consideration the people around you.  Never nice, if can be helped, only selfish.

  4. lol maybe he is talking about a BO staff, and his friend truely stinks at using it, in which case practice practice practice.

In the terms of Body odour

Wash every morning using a soapy flanel.  (face / underarms / genitals)

clean undies and t-shirt each day

wear deoderant (roll-on / stick anti-persperants are best, and a spray on to mask any remaining smells)

After all at the end of the day have a shower.  Although i'll admitadly say i dont' showe rdaily TBH where i always have clean cloths and the flannel washes each morning i tend to shower every 3 days perhaps, i know i should shower more (and will soon) but eh.

  5. There is a medical condition where people get a foot fungus that makes their feet reek; and I mean really reek.  Its not very common and I had a student one time that had developed it and after a trip to the doctor for some special salve it really cleared it up but until he did the area of the class where he was stunk as well as the dressing room when he was changing.  You might see if this is the problem and if not just encourage your friend to practice better hygiene.  There are some nasty type things out there that people can catch from one another if he doesn't.

  6. Shower every morning and wear a lot of ouder free strong anti persperint. Make sure he only wears clean clothes and eats relatively ouder free food, no garlic or onions)

  7. Haha I thought you were talking about a Bo staff! Well, this is the martial arts section......lol

Just tell him to wash and use deodorant.

  8. Advise him to shower daily. Wear clean fresh clothing everyday, especially underwear.

Wear a strong anti-persperant/deodorant. I highly recommend Arm and Hammer unscented solid.

I agree with the other poster who mentioned food. Indeed, you ARE what you eat.

  9. Tell him, he will not be your mate if somebody else tells him and he knew that you could have told him!

  10. tell him to have a wash otherwise you'll have to get out the garden hose
