I have a 2006 HONDA CBR600RR. I was interested in getting a swingarm kit, but didn't want to cough up the 1000 bucks to a full one. I seen the bolt on extenders u can hook up to your stock swingarm for about 250-300 bucks on different sites. I was wondering what extra would i have to buy besides a longer chain....and how proven these parts usually are?

  1. Do you actually need a longer swingarm or is this just to impress other people?  If you just can't keep the front wheel down when accellerating or you do nothing but drag race, then it's probably warranted.  Otherwise, all you're going to do is spend $400 (includes a longer chain) to slow down the steering.

  2. This is a valid modification. I ride stretched and there is nothing wrong with it. Handles just fine for me. Straight line and curves.

That's it man. just the blocks and the chain. Let Honda shop install them so your warrantee will stay in tact.

  3. I think if you do that you are going to need a powerful helmet....only let professionals install, or else you will be sorry
