I have the latest BOSE desktop speakers - that despite there size can apparently can do the job of a sub woofer and the power of 2 march larger main speakers - will plugging this into my headphone Jack damage the speakers heres the link to the speakers

Also connecting to a 150 watt amplifier, wise?

  1. If these are like most computer speakers they contain a built in amp. They will plug directly into a headphone out on a laptop or the mini stereo out of an audio card on a PC. Don't use a separate amp.

That said .. if you have them already I hope you enjoy them, but if you haven't yet bought you can find much better speakers for less money. Bose is renowned as overpriced mediocre equipment.
