Question

I like this boy. We go to a small school, and everyone know's everyone's business. We both have the same group of close friends too. So a friend of mine asked a friend of his if he liked me, and he said no. So I kinda blew it off and have been playing it cool. But recently, in class, I see his looking at me. My friends sit behind me, and I turn around to talk to them alot, and the guy is behind them looking at me a lot. So, today he got a girlfriend. And I don't know what to think. So, what's his deal? Does he like me or not?

He sent a message to my friend (the one that asked his friend if he liked me) the second after he asked this girl out. They usually never talk... like at all. I heard from her that he got a gf. Don't know if that changes anything

Boys are generally not as complicated as they seem! It is usually easy to tell whether a boy likes you or not, boys don't generally keep that sort of thing secret. Ask around, especially his best friends, get to know him a little more, see if he asks to do things with you etc... Try even asking him if he likes you yourself! That is the best way of telling! Us guys are confused alot.  We dont know who to pursue or why it just happens.  The best way would be for you to tell him who to like, perhaps yourself +D .  Talk to him alot about the girl he asked out and make that a topic of conversation between you two.  Get closer that way and soon you will figure out if he really likes her or if he likes someone else, you =D.  If not there are plenty of fish in the sea and one of them belongs to you.

Don't you think that it is possible that you wanted him to like you so you convinced yourself that he does? What if he was just staring into space and you just assumed he was looking at you? (I know I've been accused of looking at a girl in my math class when I was really just daydreaming.) Also, if he did want to go out with you, why would he just sit in class and look at you all hour? Wouldn't he talk to you? Then again...you did say that you had your friend talk to his friend, which makes it sound like you are only like 12 or 13. So, maybe he is shy or something.

Whatever the case, you need to talk to him. Not about dating; just like normal conversation. If he does like you, then breaking the ice will make it easier for him to ask you out. If he doesn't like you yet, maybe you will charm him into submission.

I went through the same thing when I was in high school. I never even noticed this girl but the second I knew she liked me..... it was like a seed was planted. At that age it is very flattering for a person of the opposite s*x to like you. Slowly she grew on me and we went out. Your in his head and will be hard for him to ignore you........ keep playing it cool. Even more so go out with one of his friends he will be FURIOUSLY JEALOUS!

hmmm. this is tuff. i have had a simalar problem. and it would of worked out if i asked her but it was to later. he may just  of told your frined that becuse he new she would tell you. but whatever it is dont be afraid of rejeshion and take a chance it might work. srry if i dint answer the best  , but i dont know him so good luck and the clock is ticking you only live for so  long so L A T E R
