  1. Well, I am employed in the railway industry and the term "shed" is usually used in relation to a loco or unit that is a load of c**p (excuse my French).

    A class 31, perchance?


  2. That would be a Class 59 or 66. (The 66 is a higher speed general purpose version of the Heavy Haul 59)

    The name comes from the corrogated sides and pointy roof. Though I never really heard it applied to the 59s (probably as they were privatley owned and used exclusivly on Yeoman and ARC/Hanson 'Jumbo' stone trains along the Great Western routes and didn't get the mass exposure of the 66)
