  1. When they first put my braces in (10 weeks ago), the ortho's assistant told me that I could not eat a bunch of things, like gum, corn on the cob, chew on ice, etc. And for the first week I really couldn't because it was too painful to eat just about anything. After that, I could eat anything I want.

So, no. That cheeseburger and fanta wont make a mess on your teeth, just make sure you floss and brush after eating, so no food will get stuck on your braces and cause bad breath :]

  2. no that wont mess with your teeth or braces dont chew gum when you have braces cut corn off cob dont eat apples whole you can drink anything

brush ur teeth AFTER EACH MEAL AND IN THE MORNBING WHEN YOU WAKE UP AND AT NIGHT  BEFORE YOU GO TO BED hope this helps

  4. Experiment.

Obviously you cant eat hard or crunchy foods, but you dont have to starve.

Everyone is different, when i got mine they didnt hurt so much so that i had to eat soup and water, i could eat bread but that was as far as i could go.

Try soup, pasta, mince, noodles, yoghurt, milkshakes, smoothies etc etc.

Avoid sweets and chewing gum though :)

    Good luck !

  5. well, if you just got your braces then you should stick to soft foods that don't require much chewing. Avoid hard/crunchy foods and gum. Try not to drink too much soda because it isn't good for you or your teeth anyway. You can eat cheeseburgers, just allow for your teeth to heal before you do so.
