  1. It's putting pressure onto your braces, which are attached to your teeth, so the pressure is going onto your teeth as well. I had the same problem when I first got my braces, the best way to go about it is to either 1) eat the burger/food in bits, 2) cut it up into smaller pieces.

I know you might feel really childish doing it at first but it worked for me, and I have my braces off now and straight teeth (:

    Good luck! Hope this helped?

  2. Dude, I think it's because your brace is pulling your teeth, and your teeth are under a lot of pressure right now. Whenever anything pushes on your teeth it will hurt. Don't worry though because it stops hurting after a week or so, and then you can eat as many burgers as you like =)

  3. It hurts because your teeth are being moved. As a result your teeth will feel soar whenever you eat, because of the chewing  and biting. the soarness will go away eventually, however whenever you go for your adjustments the soarness will return for a day or two then go away.

  4. Your mouth isn't really used to the braces yet, and it adds pressure. Or your teeth may be moving, which is a good thing. Don't worry, it should stop hurting in a few days. If not, see your dentist. Good luck :)
